Mordechai Yerushalmi, Owner/President of The Jewelers of Las Vegas

First-generation immigrants, husband-and-wife Mordechai and Vicki Yerushalmi came to America with nothing but the determination to create a better life for themselves and their children. Once settled into the rapidly growing city of Las Vegas, NV, in 1976, they gathered what they had and opened their historic flagship store at 2400 Western Ave. The couple's focus on delivering their customers excellent service and great value fueled the fledgling company's rapid growth. As their customer base grew, the Yerushalmi's opened more fine jewelry stores along the strip and inside hotels such as Dunes, Tropicana, Hilton, Desert Inn, and Caesar's Palace.

In November 1993, the Yerushalmi's decided to open a new store in Summerlin at 8502 W. Lake Mead Blvd, noticing the influx in Las Vegas' population and expansion of the surrounding residential areas. Then, in the early 2000s, Mordechai and Vicki officially welcomed their children into the family business. Today, the Yerushalmi family operates multiple stores throughout the Las Vegas Valley. These include the company's Western Ave. flagship store, the Summerlin location, their hotel stores Venetzia Fine Jewelry inside both The Palazzo hotel lobby and The Venetian hotel lobby, and Rocks the Jewelers inside MGM Hotel & Casino.

The Jewelers of Las Vegas is not only a jewelry and watch retail establishment but also has the most extensive manufacturing and repair facility in Nevada. As a result, custom designs, including jewelry and watch repairs, are more affordable and can be completed while the customer waits. Along with their desire to provide excellent service to their customers, giving back to the Las Vegas community is equally important to The Jewelers. They donate throughout the year to multiple schools, charitable organizations, religious institutions, community events, and youth sports teams.

The Jewelers of Las Vegas is honored to be the longest-standing family-owned jewelry store in Las Vegas and are passionate about making sure their customers feel valued and appreciated. This sentiment reflects in their mission statement, "At The Jewelers of Las Vegas, our customers are family. We are committed to delivering an unmatched experience by providing outstanding customer service with integrity and crafting quality precious jewelry that our customers will cherish for generations."
