A$AP Rocky is fueling more hype for his upcoming album by debuting the official artwork created in part by the legendary Tim Burton.
On Tuesday, December 16, the Harlem native shared the official cover for his anticipated album Don't Be Dumb on social media. The work of art, crafted by Rocky and Burton, features nods to the rapper's past albums as well as elements inspired by Burton's dark mind. You can see the mob of ominous characters, including the infamous crash dummies from Rocky's 2018 LP Testing, a creepy t-shirt that says "I ❤️ NY," and a green-faced man wearing hair rollers while using a bullhorn.
"SORRY 4 THE WAIT DON’T BE DUMB FINALLY HERE! THANKS TIM BURTON FOR HELPING ME MAKE THIS MOVIE! COMING SOON," Rocky wrote in his caption.
The album cover got plenty of praise from fellow artists and fans alike. Even the mother of his three children, Rihanna, hopped in the comments to give her seal of approval.
"Sooo f*ckin proud!!!! 💪🏿❤️ LETS GOOOO BABY," she wrote.
As most fans know, Rocky wore the hair rollers and used a bullhorn during his recent festival appearances from Lollapalooza to Tyler, The Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw. During his Camp Flog Gnaw performance, Rocky arrived in a helicopter and revealed a number on the sleeve of his right arm. The number read, "01162026," which fans believe means January 16, 2026. While it seemed like a subtle update for the album's release date, some fans thought Rocky was trolling fans. The release date lands on "National Nothing Day," which led some critics to believe it was a pump-fake, especially after Rocky recently joked the album wasn't dropping.
A$AP Rocky has been teasing the album for several years at this point. After months of keeping fans on their toes, Rocky finally confirmed a release date last summer during his AWGE fashion show. He originally set it for August 23, but he pushed it back and didn't provide a new date until last month.
The pre-save link to A$AP Rocky's upcoming album is officially available now, which means it just might drop on January 16, 2026, after all.
