Honoring First Responders: Congratulations Andre McFarland!

Congratulations to Andre McFarland, our First Responder honored for the month of April! Andre, an officer with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, was nominated by his wife Kiana. Kiana wanted to recognize her husband because he "...is the true definition of a hero. As a Las Vegas native, his main focus is to protect and serve every single person in this city. He grew up far from the suburbs and was able to make a great life for himself and family. After high school he received a full ride scholarship for his basketball talent to Colorado State University. After college he returned home and decided to go into law enforcement. He wanted to make a difference in our community. His focus is not only to protect but to raise awareness especially to our community. He is focused on being the type of officer that bridges the gap. He is more than deserving of recognition not only for being an amazing officer, but also and amazing father and husband".
