The crowds who've been chanting "Free Meek Mill" might be getting what they want -- after a Pennsylvania official said the office wouldn't oppose his release.
District Attorney Larry Krasner isued a statement acknowledging that Meek's conviction might be tainted because the bust was made by a dirty cop who's had hundreds of other cases thrown out of court. He said "The risk of an unjust or disproportionate sentence having been served exists. There is a strong showing of likelihood of (Mill's) conviction being reversed (in whole or in part), therefore the Commonwealth is unopposed to (Mill's) petition for bail."
Meek is currently serving a two-to-four year sentence. (USA Today)
