Nas and Lauryn Hill have announced a joint North American tour! Today (May 30), fans of the two stars began freaking out when we learned this exciting news.
The tour will be kicking off Chicago, Illinois on Sept. 7 and will end in Vancouver, Canada on Oct. 11. Roots reggae recording artist Chronixx is set to open up for the two rappers for the first 11 tour dates. Comedian Hannibal Buress will follow and serve as an opening act for the remaining dates.
"This is history," Nas said about the tour, in a statement. "Better late than never. Life is good!" Nas and Hill haven't joined forces since 1996's "If I Ruled The World (Imagine That)." If Hill actually arrives ON TIME to her concerts -- which she's infamously had difficult doing lately -- the tour definitely set to be a great time. Could this also mean that new music from the two are on the way? They haven't released albums for a few years now. Guess we'll wait and see.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale starting Friday (June 2) at 10:00am ET via Live Nation.
