TRF & Project 150 Open Summerlin Hosp Pediatric Oncology Nourishment Room

Tyler Robinson Foundation and Project 150 teamed up for a great project:

Tyler Robinson Foundation and Project 150 to open Summerlin Hospital Medical Center pediatric oncology nourishment room inspired by Delilah Juarez Tuesday, Sept. 22
In partnership with Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF) and Project 150, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center will open a new nourishment room on the pediatric oncology floor, inspired by TRF warrior, Delilah Juarez.
During her treatment at UCLA, Delilah saw the benefits of offering a snack room for patients and their families. Working with a child life specialist at Summerlin Hospital, Delilah developed a similar concept for patients in Las Vegas. The nourishment room will offer patients and family members easy access to their favorite foods while in the hospital.  Chemotherapy treatments can impact patient’s food preferences, additionally parents are often unable to leave the hospital to get food or may not be able to afford outside snacks for their child in treatment.
The nourishment room will open on Sept. 22, a date that holds special significance for Delilah. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma when she was 16 years old, Delilah began treatment at Summerlin Hospital on Sept. 22, 2017 and became part of the TRF family.
TRF and Project 150 recently collaborated to provide school supplies and meals to local Las Vegas families in need.
