THE VENETIAN RESORT SHARES THE LOVE WITH TENS OF THOUSANDS OF FIRST RESPONDERS AND ESSENTIAL COMMUNITY WORKERS WITH THE GIFT OF COMPLIMENTARY SUITE NIGHTS
The Las Vegas resort will donate up to 50,000 nights to Community Heroes who have made an impact during the COVID-19 pandemic
To further its already robust community response efforts, The Venetian Resort® Las Vegas continues Share the LOVE, a program to donate 50,000 free nights to essential frontline “community heroes” and first responders in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The Share the LOVE program provides the opportunity for guests to book a stay and either Give LOVE, as a thank you to those who have been on the front lines battling the coronavirus or Get LOVE, the opportunity for those first responders and community heroes to receive a complimentary night at the iconic resort.
FOR ALL GUESTS – THE GIVE LOVE OFFER
For every night booked through the Give LOVE offer, guests receive up to 25 percent off The Venetian’s luxurious suites and the resort will donate a complimentary suite night to eligible first responders and other community heroes, up to 50,000 suite nights in total.
FOR COMMUNITY HEROES – THE GET LOVE OFFER
The Get LOVE offer gives essential community workers and first responders a complimentary suite night at The Venetian Resort when they stay a minimum of two nights. Through this offer, the most expensive night booked will be covered by The Venetian and additional nights will be available at the resort’s highly discounted “friends and family” rate. Community heroes who reserve a complimentary night through this offer will also receive special perks at check-in, including discounts at resort restaurants, retail outlets, and other attractions.
Those “community heroes” eligible for the one night complimentary stay include: doctors, police officers, nurses, EMTs, grocery store employees, truck drivers, teachers, and postal/delivery drivers. A complete list is available at venetian.com/heroes.
“The Share the LOVE program adds another element to a Las Vegas getaway, by providing a well-deserved break for our nation’s community heroes,” said George Markantonis, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Venetian Resort. “When you choose to stay at The Venetian through the Give LOVE offer, you will be donating a room to someone who has selflessly given of themselves. As we open our doors, we are honoring the people that have carried us through this tremendous time.”
The Share the LOVE program offers are available to book through Aug. 31 for stays through Dec. 29, 2020. Since reopening, The Venetian has rolled out its Venetian Clean Commitment, new cleanliness and operational protocols that meet or exceed the resort’s already rigorous standards. The set of guidelines, which incorporates guidance from national, state and local governments, ensures the resort is taking the appropriate steps to minimize risk and enhance safety for all Team Members and visitors. To provide transparency, aVenetian Clean document that outlines top-line changes is available at https://www.venetian.com/VenetianClean.
Throughout 2020, Las Vegas Sands, the parent company of The Venetian Resort, has committed significant resources in its aid to Team Members and the community. The company is currently paying each of its nearly 10,000 Las Vegas Team Members, along with providing full health-care benefits, while its properties remain closed. The company is also providing emergency pay to the employees of several partner restaurants located at The Venetian Resort. In total, Sands has donated more than 2.5 million pieces of personal protection equipment to various areas in need, including Nevada, New York, California and Massachusetts. In addition, the company donated 1,900 coronavirus test kits and 20,000 protective suits to the state of Nevada. Sands also has made financial contributions to several hunger-relief organizations and donated 60 pallets of food and more than 55,000 bottles of water to local organizations. In May, resort chefs prepared more than 16,000 meals for daily homeless outreach, packed with hygiene supplies and daily messages of love.
