In the spirit of always needing another shot at something in life, we figured a Do-Over was in order! Join us on the Western Beltway Trail to test your time against previous races on this course.

Winnie The Pooh at Charleston Heights Arts Center

  • Winnie the Pooh is Christopher Robin's fat little "bear of very little brain" who would like to drift peacefully through life, humming tunes and stopping frequently to eat "a little something." However, he finds himself involved in all sorts of frantic adventures, assisted by such friends as the dismal Eeyore, Piglet and Rabbit, with his countless relations. Pooh's intentions are always the best, but his passion for honey and condensed milk keeps getting him into trouble. When friend Piglet is roped into Kanga's household and Kanga starts bathing him (with soap!) and forcing down spoonfuls of Strengthening Medicine, Pooh wants to fly to the rescue, but he has had so many snacks he gets stuck in the door. Based on the book by A.A. Milne, this honey-filled delight is sweet as it is fun.

  • Valley of Fire has a lot to offer, and if you have a short amount of time, it can be hard to fit it all into one day. Come to the Visitor Center and meet a ranger in front of the theater for a short talk about the geological history, human history and common flora and fauna of the park.

HallOVeen at the Magical Forest has quickly become a favorite fundraiser for Las Vegas’ Favorite Charity with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the programs and services Opportunity Village provides to nearly 2,000 individuals with intellectual and related disabilities in Southern Nevada.
  • Opportunity Village will be introducing a new attraction to the Magical Forest — VEGAS FRIGHT NIGHTS! This new, heart-pounding haunted house experience includes Nightmare Manor and Clown Invasion in 3D.

Discovery Walk: Ospry at Clark County Wetlands Park

  • Join a nature guide to discover some of the best places to walk and spot Osprey. We will meet at Wells trailhead.  No dogs. Be prepared to walk two miles or more. Ages 10+, Free. Advance signup required. Meet at Wells trailhead.


The Story of This Land at Valley of Fire State Park

  • The forces of nature can be a mighty power, and it can be hard to imagine that wind, rain, snow, and ice created what we see today. Join a ranger for an hour and a half, moderate hike along the Fire Wave Trail, and unravel the story of the rocks and how they all came to be. Participants for this hike should bring water, sunscreen, hiking shoes, and a hat.


Sunday Storytime at Clark County Wetlands Park

  • Join a librarian from Whitney Library for a nature-themed Storytime in the Nature Center Picnic Café (no food service). Free. Walk-in, no advance registration required. Pre-registration not required.
