- Supports muscle recovery. Ice baths and cold showers can be good for reducing inflammation.
- Increased metabolism. By acting to keep vital organs warm, your metabolism is boosted since it uses energy.
- Mental health benefits. Fight-or-flight response is stimulated by cold showers. One study even suggests that it could help relieve symptoms of depression.
