T.I. And Teyana Taylor Exact Revenge On Evildoers In 'You (Be There)' Video

T.I. has shared a dual video for the last two tracks off his 2018 album Dime Trap, "You" and "Be There," and though the clip is admittedly violent, its message is poignant. The visuals, which also star and were directed by Teyana Taylor, begin with a quote from Georgia's governor about sex trafficking and fade into T.I. and Teyana laying in bed watching the news, as the headline "rapist on the run" flashes on the screen.

“There’s some people on the Earth that just don’t need to be here," the rapper says. "Some people just deserve to die.”

The musicians decide to take matter into their own hands, and things get a little bloody. They first visit a church and kill a pastor who was accused of molesting children, but don't stop their. They exact revenge on evildoers, and eventually make it to a motel for the night; however, they hear sounds of abuse coming through the wall and decide to intervene. They execute the police officer committing the act, but in the process Teyana gets fatally shot. The "Be There" portion of the video shows a distraught T.I. trying to pick up the pieces after losing his love.

This isn't the first time T.I. has gotten political. Just this weekend, he got in a heated argument with conservative pundit Candace Owens about Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan.

"When you say ‘Make America Great Again,’ which period are we talking about?" he asked. "The period when women couldn’t vote, the period when we were hanging from trees, or the crack era? Which period in America are you trying to make America like again?"
